Ocab is the leader of the Swedish Property damage restoration business, and a one stop shop for the entire scope of Property Damage restoration. For almost 60 years, we have worked with a strong business idea that can be succinctly expressed as ”We save values”. In 1964, Ocab, Service och Försäljningsaktiebolag was formed in Stockholm. The founder was the shipbroker Lars Conrad Brunkman and the company turned to insurance companies and offered remediation. A second office was started in Tranås led by Hasse Storm and his brother Georg Storm was simultaneously involved in the business in the capital. A fourth partner became the company’s first CEO – merchant Hugo Sjögren. Most of the assignments consisted of remediation of soot damage and fire, but also of cleaning cisterns. The occasional water damage was also dealt with.

In the mid-1970s, the name was changed to Ocab Skadeservice Aktiebolag and it was decided that the company would carry out remediation of fire, soot, water, smell and oil damage as well as carry out related activities.

Since then, services have been added in line with needs and development, and today Ocab is a nationwide company that can be found in around 50 locations in the country. With approx. 1,400 employees, personal and local commitment is still the soul of the business.

Ocab Norway, former Frøiland Bygg Skade, started as a department in Frøiland  Bygg AS. A family-owned business, established in 2006 in Stavanger. Frøiland Bygg Skade moved to become its own subsidiary in 2016. Frøiland Bygg Skade today is a separate company. We have grown into a major player in the property damage restoration industry, and expanded our geographical reach to cover most populated areas in Norway. With over 50 locations organized in more than 30 departments around the country, we are steadily expanding to more areas.
